Pop sensation Taylor Swift won’t let anyone weather a storm alone.

The Love Story singer donated $5 million dollars to Feeding America, a national food bank, amid the recent devastation that hit Southeast America after Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton made landfall. So far, 13 people were killed in the devastation left by Milton and more than 200 killed by Helene.

Feeding America shared the news of the donation on their Instagram page via a statement from their CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot. “We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts,” they wrote.

“This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms,” the post continued, “Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead.”

The statement ended: “Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.”

Taylor is known for being charitable, formally donating to Tennessee tornado relief and a Kansas City food bank. She herself hasn’t said anything about the recent donation.

Hurricane Helene hit last weekend and left absolute devastation in its wake. The death toll rose to over 228 and relief costs are expected to be more than $30 billion.

The weather didn’t give Florida any time to recover, as it was quickly hit a few days later by Hurricane Milton. The Category three hurricane made landfall in the state on Wednesday night. The hurricane spread through various tornadoes and winds reached up to 120 miles per hour.

Meanwhile, Taylor has been attending her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games in an unaffected part of the country. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor have been dating for over a year, and he’s attended various concerts of hers while she’s cheered him on throughout the NFL season.

Taylor attended one of the games on October 7, and posed for photos with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. In photos, the 34-year-old singer cradled the pregnant former soccer player’s growing bump.
