Territory, dubbed as Netflix’s response to Yellowstone, has piqued the interest of subscribers who are eager to learn more about its cast.
Set in Australia, the plot revolves around the world’s largest livestock farm left without a successor, leading cowboys, gangsters, and landowners to vie for control of the land.
One character caught up in the impending conflict is Emily Lawson, whose family owns the ranch. But what do we know about actress Anna Torv, who brings her to life?

Australian actress Anna Torv, who portrays Emily Lawson in Territory, is no stranger to high-profile dramas.
She began her career with a role in the series Young Lions, before moving on to other shows like The Secret Life Of Us, Mistresses, and The Pacific.
In 2008, the then 45-year-old landed the role of FBI special agent Olivia Dunham in Fox’s sci-fi series Fringe.
She shared the screen with John Noble and Joshua Jackson for five years in the drama, earning four consecutive Saturn Awards for Best Actress on Television.
Arguably, Torv’s next significant role was in another Netflix series, Mindhunter, where she played psychologist Dr Wendy Carr, joining FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) in studying criminal behavior.
The show featured dramatized interviews with real-life convicted killers like Charles Manson, Son Of Sam, and Ed Kemper, but it was cancelled after only two seasons.
Since then, Torv has starred in The Last Of Us, The Newsreader, and So Long, Marianne.
