The owner of a pet shop in Louth, Ireland, named Henry McGauley, was intrigued by some unusual sounds he heard emanating from his backyard. He decided to investigate the source of the noise and was astonished to find four newborn kittens nestled in a pigeon’s nest after climbing a ladder.
Upon Fiona’s return a few hours later, she discovered that the mother was nursing the kittens. Fiona often feeds stray cats outside her back door and acknowledged that there was little they could do but leave them be until they were at least six weeks old and could be separated from their mother. This was revealed to ABC news.
In her own words, she shared that they had recognized the cat. They would often spot her around the alleyway. She was expecting and had vanished a few times previously. In a short span of time, the mother cat would most likely carry her kittens to the rear door for food. Once they grow older, they plan to domesticate them and search for permanent homes.
According to the pair, the white and ginger feline relocated her litter to a secure spot, likely beneath the garden shed, during a period of intense rainfall. It appears that many individuals who frequent the animal store have expressed enthusiasm about adopting the kittens once they reach a suitable age.
It seems like the future is bright for this cute feline and her litter of four kittens.
