For their union, 2 newlyweds called on FairyTail Pet Care , an association which allows shelter animals to find an adoptive family during wedding ceremonies. They wanted to make the happiest day of their lives a moment of glory for as many people as possible. The Daily Paws returned to this loving gesture.

Let’s shake up traditions!

Many dogs and cats are waiting for their forever homes in shelters. Sometimes their stay lasts for years. So to help them make their dream come true, these newlyweds decided to throw a stuffed cat into their wedding ceremony. The person who catches it must then commit to adopting an animal. Nothing to do with the traditional bouquet!

As a precaution, only those planning to welcome a dog or a cat were invited to the famous throw. In a video that went viral on TikTok , Internet users were able to observe the scene in question, and as we can see, members of the crowd are fighting to grab the coveted plush toy !

However, one bridesmaid stood out from the rest of the guests. She throws herself to the ground to retrieve the precious sesame, before displaying a big smile on her face. Rest assured, not all the guests needed this excuse to adopt an animal, since 2 other kittens found a family that day.

The adoptable animals also attended the wedding. They were looked after by members of FairyTail Pet Care , and also met many guests. Felines nestled in their arms during the reception, others took part in the photo booth and, at the end of the day, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved rest!

Many Internet users welcomed this initiative full of altruism and generosity. We’re sure they would have loved to be invited to the wedding! The video has been viewed more than 4 million times, and it’s a safe bet that it will be a source of inspiration for future brides and grooms …
