Josh Allen is feeling good about his big ring purchase for fiancée Hailee Steinfeld — even if he has more money to spend after becoming the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.
Allen, 28, spoke to reporters during a livestream with 7 News WKBW on Wednesday, March 12 after the Buffalo Bills announced they agreed to extended the 2024 NFL MVP’s contract through 2030 for a whopping $330 million.
One reporter asked Allen if he has any of that money “earmarked” as he prepares to tie the knot with Steinfeld, also 28. “Maybe a bigger ring with the wedding coming up?,” the reporter asked.
Allen chuckled at the question and clarified, “A bigger ring you said?”
The quarterback then said, “Uh, nah, I think she likes the one she’s got.”

Allen and Steinfeld announced their engagement in a joint post on Instagram Nov. 29 — a week after their engagement. The couple shared a photo from the romantic sunset proposal where Allen asked Steinfeld to marry him in front of a rose-covered arch and among dozens of candles in Malibu.
They were first linked in May 2023, before making their relationship Instagram official in July 2024.
In an interview with Who What Wear in February, Steinfeld revealed that the Bills quarterback made sure to prepare her for the special moment, letting her know to get glammed up for their outing.

“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’ ” Steinfeld said. While the Pitch Perfect actress was caught by total surprise, the moment couldn’t have been more memorable. “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” she told the outlet.
They didn’t make their red carpet debut until after they announced their engagement. On Feb. 7, Steinfeld joined Allen at the NFL Honors where he won MVP.
After the ceremony, the “Love Myself” singer proudly posted a tribute to her fiancé, writing, “That’s MVP Josh Allen to you!” in the caption of her post. In the comments section, Allen responded with a short but sweet statement, writing, “I love you ❤️🔥.”
